Moa-Makona and the Cavalla River Basins in Liberia
The Cavalla is an international river shared by Liberia, the Ivory Coast and Guinea. It is one of the priority basins, targeted by this project and classified as priority areas for biodiversity. This basin hosts the Grebo-Krahn National Park along with the Sapo National Park established by The Forestry Development Authority (FDA) of Liberia protecting a little over 96.000 ha of forests along the border between Liberia and Côte d’Ivoire.
